Dear Partners for Potential Community,
After a decade of dedication and growth, I am announcing my retirement as the executive leader of Partners for Potential, effective January 15, 2026. This decision comes with mixed emotions, but I am excited to focus on my family in this new chapter of my life.

With heartfelt appreciation,
- Lisa Williamsen
I am truly honored and excited to step into the role of CEO at Partners
for Potential. This organization’s commitment to individuality,
empowerment, and advocacy resonates deeply with both my
professional journey and my personal story.
For more than 25 years, my work has centered on inclusion and
building opportunities for people to live meaningful, self-directed lives.
I served in executive leadership where I helped expand services,
strengthen community partnerships, and support teams in doing their
very best work on behalf of the people we serve.
On a personal level, my passion for this field is rooted in family,
community, and lived experience. I have seen firsthand how access,
encouragement, and the right supports can open doors and how
powerful it is when individuals are truly seen for who they are and
what they can contribute. I believe deeply in meeting people where
they are, honoring their goals, and creating pathways that allow
everyone to reach their full potential.
As I begin this next chapter with Partners for Potential, my focus is on
listening, learning, and building strong relationships with the people
we support, our families, our workforce, and our community partners.
Together, I look forward to strengthening what already makes this
organization special while thoughtfully growing opportunities for the
future.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I am grateful to be here and excited
for what we will build together.
